Hi all,
I am looking for a split or Apron toe boot that I can wear in a business casual setting. I already have the Alden Indy and the Grant Stone nst. I also have Alden NST shoe in cordovan, so the tanker boot would be too similar. Looking for something more dressy. I can go with country grain or suede as long as the last is sleek. Any recommendations will be appreciated.

So I browsed around and only found a few options
AE Rafael
Cobbler union Renoir and Louis.
Really like the Renoir and Louis but the price tag is high and wish the Renoir was in country grain

Are you looking for a sleek boot or a winter/tough boot? Would you pair them with jeans, chino or suit?

Usually apron boot are on the rough side, great for jeans, good for chino but not for suits.

I have the now discontinued CJ Galways II, that I really enjoy for a casual look and bad weather. I also like the Carmina Norvegian boots (available both in suede and grain).

I wear business casual. Hence, a boot which is dressier leaning would be fine as I have Alden Indy and GS Ottawa for casual/rugged use. Love the carminas you suggested. Trying to keep the budget under $300 if possible

Have you considered suede chukkas? I feel like those go better with business casual than a heavier looking boot, which I think of as being more of a denim and casual jacket thing.

Have a few suede chukkas already. Just looking for a dressier (not formal) split/apron toe

Not sure what your budget is, but you could do Zonkey Boots' combo grain and calf split toe. Alternatively, MTO the same boot in either 100% calf or scotch grain.

At that price point you could look for loake Anglesey in suede (also available in grain but even more casual style). I believe the Anglesey suede was recently discontinued but you may find some websites that still have them and probably at good prices too.

Herring Shoes offer a split toe under $300 that is made in Spain (maker should still be John Spencer). There used to be a discount code, but still for under $250.. Not bad.
