"Glosoli" is my favorite stand-alone Sigur Ros track. That's a really powerful song. "Let Down" is another Radiohead song worth mentioning in this topic.

TIP: to embed Youtube clips, put only the encoded part of the Youtube URL, e.g. eBGIQ7ZuuiU between the tags. Brings a tear to my eye every time I listen to it. Couldn't recommend highly enough the entire Hazards of Love album. In context, it would rank amongst the saddest love songs I've come across.

The most heart wrenching of all songs I have ever heard:

Lament for the Death King George V

I am not kidding. It is on iTunes, search John Turner artist, Wanderer's Lament album. At least listen to the preview. If that doesn't give you a chill, you're not human.

Great list. Live has a penchant for writing songs that give me chills, as did AIC. Bleed the Freak is a massively underrated song.

Probably my favorite WJ song.

I loved the Nails version, but Cash completely stole that song and made it his own.

Love "Midnight Train to Georgia"
"Candy's Room" Springsteen works well.

Surprised nobody has mentioned any classical pieces. But then again, no.

Stop posting those YouTube links: I've got dial-up and can't get that crap. Just say the name of the tune. And say something I've heard of 'cause I haven't heard of anything mentioned so far except the Beatles and the Beatles don't give no chills, even when I saw them live in Cleveland in '66. And no, I don't wanna be called Pops.

The oboe part in particular gets me. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a studio version on YouTube, and this one sounds like it uses a synth for that part. Still an amazing song.

It's the sound of a man dying. It can be hard to listen to, but some of it is just so brilliant I can't pass it up.

The video is literally the best music video ever made. Justin Timberlake even said so when he won video of the year instead of "Hurt".
