Hi all,

I have to commute every day in crowded trains/subway to the office, plus I walk 30-40 minutes to the train station.

I was using briefcase all this time because most stylish books/blogs recommend it for office style guys. But I never actually bring too much items in it – it’s just keys, earbuds, phone, passport and glasses case.

So I stopped grabbing briefcase with me and switched to a converse flight bag it’s much more practical for me. But it really ruins the classic style of suit or blazer/chinois.

Can you guys recommend which type of bag should I get, maybe “big wallet” will work for me? I see some posh guys walking with Luis Vuitton huge wallets I guess it will feel my needs, but I want to get your opinion guys.

Thank you! But Folio cases are still kind of too big for my needs. I just carry earbuds, phone and keys. Maybe some kind of men handbag or acceptable shoulder bag?

Once you start going too small, IMHO leather bags start looking like ladies handbags...The smallest I would go is a small messenger type bag and even then I would watch the styling ie not too much bling as already mentioned..

You might think a messenger bag is still too big, but the slight increase in size will make no practical difference to the carry, and a little extra space can come in handy for things like a compact umbrella, tablet, paperback or what have you...

Edited to add, if you really only need to carry, earbuds, phone and keys, I would just use my pockets....

What about "Flight bags" ? I use one now something like on the image and I find myself carrying it in my hands most of the time instead of using strap.
So messanger bag is really out of question. If I go in a suit - I dont bring any bag and just carry everything in pockets, but most of the time I go just in shirt and trousers, so not enough space in it.

There is no stylish options for men?

Haha, I’ve been thinking about this as I sometimes don’t carry much in my briefcase. There is a big business opportunity here for the designer who solves this one.
