I just received about 100 samples from my manufacturer and they turned out great in both traditional and skinny widths. I am ready for the MAGIC so get the cameras ready for this fall.

They are unique and I posted a few photos in the attachments.

Love to hear your thoughts.

It looks like a skinny tie...I feel like I should be looking for a special hole or cut out like the other glennies. Am I missing it????

Note the direction of the stripes in the knot...

haha so there is a hole! I can't see it with the picture but it doesn't look as offensive as the rest of his creations.

I think your skinny black and white striped tie is actually pretty smart, and whilst I was generally underwhelmed by the congruent pattern tie thing, on that it looks pretty damn good, if I still went to a lot of indie gigs I would wear it.

Are indie kids still wearing skinny ties?

Ok I'll go ahead with this one because it seems like too much effort for a troll. How do you manage that? is it the tie that's built with the part where one would tie the knot with the stripes upside down or is it a specialglennieknotâ„¢?

Well I haven't been to an indie gig in a few years, so I couldn't say. If I still was one I would wear a skinny tie for sure.
The last gig I did go to the guys were mostly wearing ultra skinny jeans belted beneath their arse and purple eye liner (tear streaks optional). ****. Should have seen the support act was my chemical romance before I went.

If ever there was a fashion marriage made in hell it was the gangster low jeans thing with the indie skinny jeans thing. Not only does it look awful but they can not walk at all.

So maybe not, but they should be.

Yea, the portion of the tie that knots has stripes running the opposite way, so when it's knotted, it's a consistent pattern. His big thing appears to be contrasting color or pattern knots. I had not seen the striped tie designed like this before, but I have seen the white/other color contrast knot about at least 8 years ago with Bachrach ties.

me too. I don't know if it's because we're just used to it but it looks much nicer, there is something unnatural in glennie's congruent tie
