Fair enough. I don't actually one, but the measurements I've seen make me think they'd be longer than I'd like. As a shortie, it's a concern. Thanks for your response.

@kittycorraller As a fellow shortie the 19th Century shirts can sometimes be a bit long depending on the season. Overall the Workaday versions were more uniform in sizing.

As a fellow shortie (5'7" - short torso, long legs), I've given up on styles like the 19th Century BD and Round Collar. The long hemlines that cover the entire rise of your pant just isn't flattering and exaggerates the fact that you're on the shorter end of the spectrum. There are lots of brands that compliment the EG aesthetic, so I'd recommend exploring that route before trying to force the 19th Century BD to work for you. Check out brands like TS(S), Evan Kinori, Older Brother, or Beams Plus. I've found these brands shirting tends to fit me off the rack.

Good to know. I guess I didn't realize there a difference between the 19c. Button down and the Workaday.

Well, my interest came from a 19c. button down on grailed that I was super bummed sold before I could pick it up. I was going to go through with it despite my reservations, but I'm glad I didn't now. I've had reasonable success with other eg pieces, so I'll continue to try my luck. Thanks for those other suggestions though.

My go-to winter jacket. Picture taken at Nepenthes (unfortunately I didn't end up buying that work shirt).

It’s really just a rectangle of fabric with buttons running part way down one side and button holes part way down the same side so when buttoned up kinda makes a cone.
