Shouldn't large and extra-large sizes cost more than smalls?

Ridiculous thread. We all know clothes are not priced like commodities, especially designer clothes. Consider any Income Statement of any clothing manufacturer and see all the costs that go into an item of clothing besides the raw materials (salaries, advertising, distribution delivery, rent, IT, financing costs, etc). Clothes are priced on what the market will pay. One could argue that smaller and more fit people are more concerned with their looks/image, so they should be charged more for their clothes, because they would be more likely to pay the higher price!

(simple supply and demand)

To the OP: if you want to pay less for your smaller clothes, then shop in the kids department.
