Thanks, now that you point it out I agree across the board. First ones are Soloist, so your read is well put.

@gettoasty Personally I'd go with brown, I think it'll look cool with the clear frames and add a bit of necessary color and contrast. The clear-plus-grey is a little too bland.

Ordered brown lenses.

Received eyeglasses today, they are sitting lower on my face than the trial version I had on. Hopefully this is an easy fix, like with the arms being tweaked. Otherwise, David Kind seems good for first try.

I tried on David Kind just last week. Got 5 frames. Very nice stuff, well-designed and well made, but none of the shapes quite worked for me. Still got a very positive impression on the whole.

I don't know what's come over me, but I have a pair of Chaco Z1 on the way. They're returnable so I can back out if I come to my senes. I may have been brainwashed by Mr. Mort's instagram feed.

No, just blue and black. I would have gone for solid black but this pair was cheap on STP.

Birk Boston taupe suede. This color is probably the most versatile for my mainly black, white, and grey wardrobe. Are Birks good or are there better alternatives in a similar price range?
