Should I or shouldn't I buy... (clothing item)?

if you look some of the more “contemporary” recently introduced CJ I bet you can almost find same aesethics

you won't find that style from a cm maker. the toe shape is different, and most of all that, canted heel.

those are also stamped grain leather shoes. minus the goodyear welting, which is prob pointless on this type of shoe because you won't want to wear it in 15 years, these would be the same even if you got them from a C&J type brand. you can resole glued shoes, you just can't after too many resolings. but these swd looks aren't meant to last you 15 years

try Japanese RTW, no brand on top of my head but pretty sure saw similar stuff for better quality...

I like CM shoes (actually boots, not really into shoes, I just have some mono docs), I have Alden shell boots, C&J Islay and some day I’d like a pair of shell Skyes... but still got a pair of SLP jodhpurs because the shape just isn’t the same elsewhere. Same goes for those derbies, they look great.
