I knew he would respond immediately.

They're pretty clean and classic but I would probably find something i love instead of should I?

Yeah I actively want them it's just I have a great pair of loafers already so have no reason to. If you are on the fence you shouldn't. The guilt re buying Gucci will get to you

I hate those and everything they represent.

That's a lot of panels of leather on those. Seems kinda busy, maybe unnecessarily so.

Go buy your stupid amiris

You would Benes, you would.

There's a place for stuff that's just good and that you never have to think about.

Gucci horsebits are like a Rolex Submariner. Yeah, they're basic and boring but they're also practically never a bad option and frequently a very good one.

And don't worry about the Gucci hype. In 5 years everybody will have moved on from Michele but you'll still like your Gucci loafers.

gucci horsebits are ok, but that particular model is very much a "fashion guy" shoe. not that there's anything wrong with that, but you might get tired of them really quickly for that reason.

With the current clearance sale on the A.E. site and my sister's employee discount I'm at $125 for a first
quality pair of Long Branch boots... do I get them?

With knowing literally nothing about your style in 2 posts, I guess they're ok. They're pretty standard, although you need to swap out the laces asap. With that kind of discount, I'd look for something else from AE though.

I would probably go for a darker color. Tan with jeans can be OK, but a more solidly mid-brown or even dark brown will be easier to wear. I also think you can get nicer looking shoes for not too much more money. Meermin is about $175-200 these days (a little less if you buy something new off eBay). They're stiffer than AEs at first, but will break in over time.

One of the other things to consider is that AE's tan colors have a slightly reddish undertone. They're a warmer shade of brown and thus are a little harder to wear. I think tan shoes are easier to wear when they have earthier undertones (green, yellow, etc). Most men's rely in cooler colors like gray and blue. So when you have a warmer colored shoe in an outfit, it can unnaturally draw the eye downwards.

If you get those, at least swap out the red laces for black ones.

I actually really like the slipper loafers. No fur for summer and fur for winter.

I have about $260 worth of rewards point on Denimio that are going to expire tomorrow. I don't really need anything in particular so I'm looking for a classic cut on the slim side that I can hold onto for a while until I have a need for new pair of jeans.

I'm leaning toward the regular 19oz indigo version (S710XX) or the black x black version (S710NBK). Product shots are from Okayama Denim because Denimio has **** for product shots.

Alternatively, if anyone knows of a brand that Denimio stocks that has a similar fit to the 3Sixteen 21BSP but with a higher rise, I'd be happy to hear about it!
