I agree with this, I have a pair of all black Lanvins that I really want to pull off but have no idea how!

Angle of pic is bad so hard to say, maybe shirt is overlong, shoulders are slightly too large and in this case give the overall shirt a droopy effect, ditch if pic somewhat accurate.

Lanvin trainers were worn by sleek nighlife hype douches. I just described how I wore that stuff in 2007 or whatever. replace by a sleek jacket that isn't a tux and doesn't scream orphan/office and you,re done. Basically do Mr Porter but unlike Mr Porter manage to do it properly and you'll be fine.

Must have been. It's definitely a nice coat, but its use in California seems limited. If you travel a lot to colder climates, or intend to, I would keep it.

I think it's the combination of the relatively slim body and the longer, looser sleeves that make the shirt fit look a little off.

Not sure about the color of the sole -- for RO shoes, I mostly prefer either the black/white upper/sole combo or the monochromatic upper/sole combo.
