I am going to be vacationing in Barcelona for a few days coming up. Right now I am over in Iraq, so I don't have any of my respectable clothes here. I'll be taking a date and intend to really soak up the nightlife, hit a few nice clubs and resteraunts, etc. In terms of quality and price, would you think I am better off shopping online with US stores or waiting and checking out the retail spots in Barcelona? Especially considering slacks and button down shirts. Thanks.

Just came back from Barcelona a few weeks ago. You can not go wrong with going up and down Passaig de Gracia, and down Avenida Diagonal. You will be content. I think I shopped up and down Gracia 3 out of the 7 days I was there.

Typically Barcelona would be Custo, I guess.

Desigual is a bit similar (I think they are litigating about it):

Of course, in Barcelona you will also find all those high and low and stores that you will find everywhere else.
Well, of course, you may have a better chance to find Carmina shoes: Carmina Albaladejo Shoemaker, Rambla de Catalunya, 24,
