Definitely call and schedule an appointment, I assume there are people there most regular business hours so timing shouldn't be an issue. I would try to give them at least a days notice out of courtesy.

You would have to call and let them know, it's not really a store.

Ian told me he likes to personally greet first timers and show them around. After your first visit, its pretty casual.

Ian has outstanding clothes and shoes at great discount prices. If you come to L.A, you have to go there, at least to look around.

I went today. I didn't realize that Ian had moved to a new location. Much better and easier to see the inventory. He still has a ridiculous amount of stuff that isn't online yet. There are a bunch of St. Crispins, several very nice ones in my size too. A few that come to mind are some tobacco suede chukkas on a crepe sole, some dark brown adelaide wintips, some pebble grain cap toe high boots, etc. I think most of those were in sizes 8, 8.5, 9 (euro sizes). I didn't get a pair - I wanted to get some pants and shirts and avoided the other stuff unless something I couldn't resist was available.

I picked up a pair of Borrelli wine corduroy trousers, some Valentini heavy weight khaki cotton dress trousers, and a Barba blue and white bengal stripe spread collar shirt in a linen cotten blend.
