Shirt Stain in NYC

So I was wearing my new shirt for the first time and I rested my arm against the back of a chair at my uncle's house. When I lifted my forearm up, it faced some resistance and when I looked down there were two parallel lines - corresponding to the edges of the back of the chair - that were left of the forearm of my shirt.

I immediately thought it was paint and that someone had trimmed the edges of the chair, but my uncle insisted the chairs hadn't been painting in 40 years. I think it may be generic grime, but it seems to be pretty nasty stuff.

Basically I have a pair of three inch, thin black lines of nasty on my shirt.

What should I do? I am in NYC if there is someone who I should just take it to, I would be happy to do that.

I've had Meurice Garment Care get some bad stains out of garments. There are a few other high end places but this one is convenient for me. Also, Geneva recommends them, so I'd give them a try. They are not cheap (I took a pair of pants for my wife that had a bad oil stain from a dinner spill--$25) but they do good work.

Hallak is another great NYC, super-expensive cleaner. I have used them for suits, but not shirts.
