Second Opinion - Collar Size

Hi All,

I'd like to get a second opinion on the size of my new shirt's collar; I believe it's slightly too large for my neck (from what I've read thus far, the general rule of thumb is no visible gaps) - do bear in mind that in the image taken from behind I am leaning forward ever so slightly.

What do you all think? Return or keep? Other than the collar, the shirt fits exteremly well for off the rack.

Thank you in advance.

SB

It doesn't look so large that I'd worry about returning it. No need to strangle yourself. You may want to try a four-in-hand to avoid your tie lifting the points of your collar like that though.

The collar looks a bit big. I would exchange it for the next collar size down.

IMO, the biggest problem with ready-to-wear collars is that the points often don't reach the coat. I would also try that shirt on with a coat before exchanging.
