Living in NYC, I was talking to some friends about how nice it would be to bike the few short miles to work but that my road bike didn't sit well for commuting in nicer attire (the shower at work option not available.) A friend recommended getting a new cruiser (with inner-hub shifting, ie. no risk of chain slippage) and that in Italy a lot of business men rode around on "girl's style bikes" because it was more conducive to wearing a suit. Think Vespa.
