Quick correction: I actually tried Douce Amere yesterday, not Diam Blonde.

Trying out Serge Lutens Louvre today.

No dif...same scent.

I really like Douce Amere...smells like licorice & pudding.

Louvre is bad...cherry marzipan.

The Different Company Sel de Vetiver. That's my current go to summer scent since I don't really own much lighter stuff.

This is my favorite scent, by far, but I don't think of it as light at all. The opening has a grapefruity citrus note (which tricked me into not liking it at first), but the base seems pretty deep and intense to me.

Found this one to be fleeting. Shame as everyone seems to love it.

You were right, Louvre was god awful. Smelled like cinnamon cherry marshmellow fluff. Ugh. Re-trying the Sel de Vetiver today.

Ca Luna by Acqua di Biella and Rain by Demeter (which doesn't last very long)

Opium PH once again.

For you guys that buy online, what sites are best as in cheapest, fast shipping, authenticity, etc.? I wanna buy some Live Jazz, and they don't sell it in stores anywhere.

Yesterday: Terre d'Hermes for a day outside in the heat.
Today: post-run, Signoricci.

later today: who knows?

Big Pun: on-line sources: Most on-line buys have been from the swap boards at basenotes or POL (which skews heavily towards the femme side). However, I also buy from eurofinegifts (for vintage scents), and my primary as of late: Amazon.com. they are fantastic and when they stock it themselves it's eligible for Prime shipping, which can't be beat.

I've bought from fragrancenet and scentiments, but have heard both good and bad about each. I figure: if it's not on Amazon (prime), and I can't find it on a swap board, I can wait.

Sometimes ebay is good for the less-known scents, provided you're not looking for Creed, Guerlain, or Chanel. Or anything new and popular: fakes abound. But for Live Jazz, I'd think ebay could yield some good results, provided you screen the seller feedback carefully.

^^Thanks.

I was thinking ebay but for some reason I think there's always alot of fakes out there. I'll check out Amazon.

Ca Luna is available at Luckyscent. Buy a sample first for $4. Enter MUA in the promo code to get free shipping.

Demeter stuff should be pretty readily available and it's cheap enough to buy blind.

They also have one called Thunderstorm, but that one smelled like potting soil to my nose

I've used Scentiments, Fragrance Net, Lucky Scent, and another one that I can't remember the name of. All are good but I'd put Scentiments at the top. They're local for me so I have to pay taxes

but their customer service is very good and the prices are hard to beat. You're welcome to my bottle of Live Jazz if you like. LMK.
