The sun is finally out in London, so I'm wearing some Jardin sur le Nil from Hermes. Not entirely sure how to describe it, but it's a nice scent, and lasts a very long time.

Tobacco Vanille today. Yesterday was Guerlain's Après L'Ondée.

@Maquis: :Regarding Mitsouko, I haven't tried any other formulation/concentration yet. Anyhow, I'll give it another wear next week and will try to describe it.

Yesterday I had current Chanel Cuir de Russie EdT on my left wrist and vintage Cuir de Russie EdC on my right. The vintage is much more animalic and a stronger blast of aldehydes in the beginning. The overall structure except for the musky and castoreum animal note was very, very similar between the two, and the vintage EdC I have is probably sixty years old.

Jardin sur le Nil is one of my summer favorites. The first time I smelled it, right after it came out, I thought it must have been a mistake. That tart mango note at the top really took me by surprise.

Pre-shower: Smell Bent She Wolf
SOTD: Histoires de Parfum 1969 Revolte. I'm becoming a fan of this one.

Walking around in the sun today, so it was Annick Goutal Duel. Then later, vintage Eau Sauvage. Rosemary basil yerba maté...

This one is interesting. I spent the better part of an hour on Friday going over the entire HdP line; some aren't to my taste, but they are almost all really well made...

Need to try HdP 1969 again. Agreed it is well made, but again, not sure whether I wish to smell like a chocolate peach the whole day.

SOTD: HdP 1828. Not bad longevity on my scent eating skin.

Not a SOTD but where is a good place to buy some samples? Just bought a bunch from Luckyscent, any other places I should take a look?
