I went as well, and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I slotted it in between meetings, so only had time for a quick spin around the wool shed, popped into to Henry Poole to see the tail end of Angus Cundey presenting on evening wear and a short look around their workrooms, and finally a tour of Huntsman (excellent - free wine as well!).

Interesting points:

- Quite how large the workrooms were for both Poole and Huntsman, and the volume of work in progress in both
- Henry Poole had a rack of garments with a thin layer of dust on top of them - pigs?
- Huntsman have a fantastic 'hanging room' (IIRC) where work in progress and completed garments are stored; if nothing else an amazing source of inspiration
- Huntsman starting price is now £4,200; certainly eye-opening
- Interesting selection of well-known and less well-known customers named on the work dockets at both houses

I was there briefly and enjoyed the seeing the sheep on the closed road in the wonderful sunshine.

However, were any of the talks/activities in the various houses actually advertised? I didn't see any flyers or posters.

Using my tour, Peter said the price was £4.4k; however, their website states starting price at £3995.

surprising...an interesting strategic decision given their troubles over the last several years...i wonder if they are focusing more on MTM and RTW now
