Curious if anyone can help identify which collection featured the Balmacaan in Navy-Grey but half-lined with Melton wool?

That should be last year's collection, AW19 if you consider this season to be AW20. Bought mine mid October of last year.

I apologize for the lackluster photo. Hopefully it at least shows you that the buggy lining is fluffy melton wool rather than this year's satin.

Hi Paul, any chance you’re planning on restocking the crewnecks? Apologies if this was asked, looked and couldn’t find anything on this item in particular...

We do have one or two coming along this week — stragglers from the knitwear maker. But only in size S, and I'm not even sure if those aren't already spoken for.

Sorry!

As another poster mentioned, the one last year was very similar to what you're describing. We moved away from lining the back with melton this year to see if using the satin would make things easier to slide off and on (since the outer cloth this year is especially thick) ... but who knows, we might well go back to the melton next year.

We have one balmacaan here in size S, in navy-grey, but with a herringbone pattern. It has a melton half-lining. It was made last year. The cloth isn't as heavy as this year. It didn't make it onto the site, but is available for purchase if anyone might be interested. Again — it's a size S, but since the cloth is lighter than this year's balmacaan, could conceivably fit someone who is size M (if they didn't layer much underneath or like a slimmer look).

Thanks Paul, always next year. I’ll keep an eye out for the navy gansey for this year’s purchase then ?.

Great.

The ganseys and balaclavae in navy were finished yesterday and today's schedule is me knee-deep in geelong trying to sort it all out.

Bodywarmers, too!

Thank you! Were the sleeves lined?

Hi Paul, incidentally I'm still looking for a balmacaan in size S having missed out on the recent batch! Shall I drop an email to follow up? Thanks.

A recent bump in interest in the watch cap means they are (a) sold out, but (b) soon to be back in stock as more are being made.

The gansey has also sold out but (a) will come back in navy next week (no b).

Balaclavae, too, in dark navy, on the way.
