maybe this is a silly question but im looking to purchase a pair of capital e matchstick rigid jeans. I was just wondering how rigid jeans hold up over time and through the wash. i love the nice clean look, id like to keep that for as long as possible

thanks for the help...

in that case, i'd say dry clean only, and infrequently as possible.
welcome 2 da steez

I'm in the same position. I like to keep my jeans looking new so I (as ddml said) dry clean and only clean when absolutely necessary. It helps if you have a bunch of jeans in your rotation so you only wear each pair 1-2x/week

I'd try to avoid doing things in them that would abrade the fabric. Eventually, you'll get some fading in the lap and behind the knees, but for me I get fading from my cell phone and wallet first.

If you wear them tight, and have a phone or wallet with defined edges, metal buttons, etc., that is probably going to show up. Also, try to avoid kneeling down on concrete, like to air up your tires or tie your shoes or whatever.
