My mom always told me never to seriously date until I'm 25.

I thought initially that she was trying me to be celibate or something, but in fact she was trying to get me not to tie myself down. Obviously I kind of took that and ran with it more than she'd ever want.

But do you ever regret college name dropping? Do you ever regret using the word certainly as it applies to whether or not you'd be accepted at a fancy school? And do you ever regret losing your humility?

I'm still young enough to try to fix a lot of this, but:

Should be more willing to **** things up
Shouldn't let other people get under my skin as much
Shouldn't care as much about other people in general
Should be more decisive
Should realize that hard work can't fix everything

Why? Because she wanted you to **** only her?

On the plus side, I'm moving back to Austin in a week, getting my old job back, but **** that was an absolute waste of money and 6 months of my life.

Let me add one for you...

Regret that my sister married that ******* douchebag.

No, because she didn't want me to end up being one of those people who wastes their youth being in a clingy relationship.

I can't think of much that I don't regret, so it would be hard to make a list. There's not much I wouldn't want to change about my life. I regret being weak, lazy, disorganized, depressive, addictive, selfish, and vain?

However, I suppose all these regrets are within the parameters of what was doable at the time.

I go to GSU...any particular reason you regret going there? just curious....

Different. Regret, in my mind, implies that you're repeatedly thinking about the mistake beyond the initial lesson.

Should've stayed in the honors program at university.

Probably shouldn't have gone to college at 16.

Should've gone to medical school instead of graduate school.

Should've played little league.
