+1 to all this, also Deadwood definitely, Dead Set, Friday Night Lights, Rome, Freaks and Geeks, maybe the first seasons of the Office US, Louie...

Can't believe I'm the first to recommend Lost. The first few seasons are as good as tv gets and the last two seasons or so aren't as strong but it's still an amazing series. Also Dexter.

Seriously? You must watch a ****-ton of TV... A Bit of Fry and Laurie, Jeeves and Wooster, Mr Show, That Mitchell and Webb Look, NewsRadio, Archer, Secret Agent/Danger Man (w/ Patrick McGoohan of The Prisoner), certain episodes of Dr Who, Torchwood: Children of Earth, maybe Ashes to Ashes (I've only seen the first season which is decent but not as good as Life on Mars)

The first 3 seasons of Rescue Me were good. Its been fairly ****** lately.

How about Dr. Who? Eureka is campy fun if you like Sci-Fi. The nerds go for Stargate and its spinoffs.

lol well yeah we got 7-8 months of winter,i actually watch very little tv and prefer to download instead so minus the commercial and all sometimes i will do like 3 eps a evening plus i watch very little movies, hell i havent even seen robin hood or iron man 2 yet.i find that films have way worse writing these days and series is where its at.kind of a reverse of how it used to be..speaking of movies i highly recommend one movie i saw recently called "The good The bad and the Weird" its a spaghetti western out of...KOREA!!! so i guess its a "Kimchi western" anyway its a crazy movie and the spaghetti western tarantino wishes he made...if you liked The host and Old Boy (also korean0 you will like this

BBC comedy about a weed dealer. Might take a couple of episodes to get into it, but once you can understand wtf they're saying and know the characters it's good.
