Yea I've always wanted to order from Oki-ni but I've heard stories of huge import charges, even to US.

Just got the sweater without any duty packages. I haven't ordered from them in a few years, but I was never charged duties. The big thing was shipping...and now it's free.

They only charge duties and fees when they ship to jet.

You don't get the customs notice for 2 weeks, it doesn't come upon arrival of the package.

When I got hit with customs charges from rakuten, I had to pay at the post office to pick up the item, and they wouldn't deliver it.

true, assuming it was shipped by courier (UPS, fedex, DHL)

post office customs I've never been charged, but CS is right in that you have to pay it before you pick up package

This is true...my package arrived DHL. We'll see if I get some after-the-fact charge.
