I would expect nothing less from you. Actually I don't mind buying from Europe so much - I have a beautiful merino wool sweater made in Italy, never mind the fact that my grandparents came from Milano. I really hate buying from China though.

Ok, so I have had my first Ratio shirt for a week or so now. First, I am an oxford cloth fan - not pinpoint, but the old school oxford fabric. The fabric on the Ration shirt is heavier than the BB - about the same weight as the Gitman Cambridge Oxford (they BTW have shot up in price to about $145). The tailoring of the Ratio is just superb - they are just wonderfully made shirts, quietly stunning. Also, the customer service is about the best I have found in the business. Over all I am very satisfied and pleased.

I see they have a deal going via the Daily Hookup (http://www.thedailyhookup.com/national/deal/measure-up-40-off-fully-customized-dress-shirts) I am wondering if they would be able to put together a more slim offering for me. I'm a 16.5" neck, 42" chest, 35" waist, and 36" sleeve. Basically I'd be looking for a few inches to be added to the chest and waist with slim arms. I'm wondering if they'd be able to do that since the slim fit sounds like it might not quite be there. For reference, I've tried both the Charles Tyrwhitt Tailored and TM Lewin Fully Fitted shirts: the TM Lewin is closer than the CT but still not quite where I want it through the waist...

I assume you're referring to the "few inches" comment? Just trying to make the point that I am looking for something that doesn't have much slack.

That's a good deal on the shirt. May go ahead and try one.

Yes, they can customize the sizing for you beyond the options displayed on their site. You can put alterations in the comments section and communicate with them via email to make sure you get them right. They are somewhat restricted by their templates, but can still do a lot.

I just ordered one Window pane shirt and one poplin vertical stripes from them. My email was replied on the same day and Eric asked me to confirm some of my choices. I sent him my waist measurement as well (not included in the order form). Excellent service.I'll update when I get them.

Sat on this the last couple days, but am placing an order tonight. Just waiting to hear back from them on some sizing questions. Probably get a blue oxford to start out with.

Been meaning to post that I got my blue Ratio Oxford in. Extremely happy with it. Fabric has a great weight to it and the overall quality is there. Well worth the asking price in my opinion.

For reference I sent them an email asking for the measurements of a slim fit shirt using my input in there website's standard system. It actually came out close to one of my favorite shirts so I decided to try that instead of sending them full custom measurements. Fit came out near perfect. It's honestly one of my best fitting shirts. I may do a few adjustments for my next order, but at the moment I couldn't be happier.
