I had no idea there was a Gilt Jil sale and now I'm pretty angry... but I wouldn't have gotten anything either, there's people out there with much faster internet than me and their trigger fingers are just so much faster, I never win anything on ebay either - and I get like 10mbps on my aDSL+Airport all day everyday on $25/month, which is pretty sad for people who don't get that.

Yes I am. You have days and days to bid. If you're having trouble sniping just click the bid button a minute early instead of 10 seconds, or use gixen. I don't see how slow internet could prevent you from getting anything on ebay.

I come from a purer, more wholesome era of the internet, before the age of ebay sniping, 83 dry faps a day, and credit card chargebacks when something doesn't come within 3 days of order. Ebay sniping is akin to hunting moose with RPG's from a helicopter.
