anyone checked out Graymarket in Brooklyn yet? I don't really venture into willyburg often so haven't had a look. What labels are they carrying? Worth stopping by?

i've got a question for the people on here who actually know about shoes.

on all the pictures of shoes that i see on vibram soles, there is like a "midsole" type of thing that is stitched to the shoe, then the vibram is glued (?) to that. however, when i got my bucks resoled, it's like the cobbler unstitched the "midsole" and just glued the vibram right to the shoe. so there's no stitching anymore, just empty stitching holes. is this bad? i'm assuming it is. i just noticed it though, and i guess most people will ever notice it, but still.
