1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I'll be there tomorrow afternoon. My hamstring flexibility is disgraceful, though, regardless of how much free booze I drink.

Canada Goose coats. So much disdain. If I wanted to wrap myself in fluffy feathers of epic proportions, I'd book a room at the Westin.

I mean sure if you live out in the bush or spend a great deal of time on fishing boats, I can understand. But in the city? Yeah, you enjoy your three-foot-wide silhouette and your dog fur-lined hood. Tool.

    So over it.

Or, it could be from all of my google image searches for 'righteous boobies'.

my mom is in NY right now, can she stop by the trunk show?? Last time she was there, I asked her to go to Dover Street Market and get me some cologne and she proceeded to ask every salesperson "does this coat really cost this much? is this how much my son is spending on clothes??"

I don't see why not, my mother just shrugged when she went to DSM in london.

It's been seen, gdl posted it.

I'd like to think this is a question she asked the different DSM vendors, not herself.

"Excuse me, is this how much my son is spending on clothes? You may know him. He goes by nicelynice on StyleForum?"

No, you are 100% correct - that was not an inner monologue, not hyperbole, that is exactly what she does (minus the nicelynice on sf thing)

I have to ask the New Yorkers: @conceptual_4est likes to tell me stories about people defecting into bags on the subway, and I want to know if he does it to scare me because I am a stupid tourist, or if that is a Real Thing that happens. There was a tied plastic bag on the floor of the train I just got off and I was horrified the whole time.

At least they do it in bags. In SF they just do it on the street.
