What's the cheapest easiest way to cover something with spikes? starting with canvas but may do some suede and leather too.

Depends how messy you're willing to let it get. The way my friend used to do it - and probably the cheapest way:

    1. Mark pattern of where you want spikes.
    2. Cut holes where they're supposed to go (using a knife, leather punch, whatever)
    3. Push or screw base through the hole.
    4. Attach spike part to the base.
    5. ???
    6. Profit.

sounds pretty cool [IMG] move to boston. you can slum it in somerville with the other metal, punk, hipster, cool kids on the cheap, try to land a cute harvard chick (90% of the students at harvard/bu are asians it seems if you're into that sorta thing), then you can check out the rest of the stuff and spend every ounce of disposable income at alan bilzerian but yea. not as cool as nyc

I've seriously toyed with the idea. Both my brother and close friend from back in the day are in the New England area and that's my favorite kind of weather generally. I may try and get at you on facebook re: the geographical and existential crises of a humanities major.

    sounds pretty cool [IMG]

damn son where'd you find this?

For the record, Gangsta Grillz has the most irritating DJ tags.

I've been revisiting Lebron Flocka James and its sequel lately, so "Damn son, where'd you find this?" just feels familiar right now...and right.
