The C & J monks that retails for $595.... Are those on the 337 last? Looked very nice but I really prefer the buckle on the Saviles...

Most people here on SF would say yes. I have my suspicions (as to whether: they're handgrade, they're on the 337, or if they're even C&J), and once I get my weymouths, I'm going to do my comparision (of the leather and lasts) in person.

I too have suspicions. I own a pair of Polo Alton handgrades on the 337 last (according to email from C&J) and the monkstraps appear to me to have a different shape, though I haven't been able to do a side-by-side comparison. The monks have channelled soles, though again, I haven't compared other details. Do let us know the results of your comparison.

The RLPL shoes come with the trees, even when bought online. AFAIK, you cannot buy RLPL trees separately, but unless you broke the originals or are trying to find lasted trees for a pair of EGs in last 888 or 89, I don't see why you'd want RLPL trees. You can always buy trees direct from EG.

I confirm that C&Js at the $595 price point are handgrades; I inquired from C&J directly.

I also confirm EGs via Polo.com come with trees.

So, can someone who has received the Camdens please tell me what the last is? Is it the 808 or the 89? I passed on ordering them since I was guessing that they are on the 89 last, which does not fit me well. If on the 808, I find that last to run narrow vs. the 888 or 606.
