Hey @Cleav are these in Chestnut? I am very interested!
Skye III in chestnut - which appears to adopt more of a reddish look when highly polished - are very nice. Glad I own them. However, I’m not sure they come in double leather sole.I know I'll probably get a biased response here, but here goes. Looking to pick up either the Alden wingtip boot in tan calf, or the Crockett & Jones Skye in Chestnut (calf); both in double leather sole. The Skye boot is a little darker and a bit more expensive. Any thoughts?
It does. C&J in NYC had it on sale for $575 (usd) back in July. I’d probably prefer it in dainite though if I could get that cheap.Skye III in chestnut - which appears to adopt more of a reddish look when highly polished - are very nice. Glad I own them. I very much agree with this. That’s why I think I’m leaning toward the Skye IIIand yes for casual boots, Alden fits the spirit, CJ is more like English country "refined"
