They looked like friends of one of the managers. James Fox I think his name is. They looked in their 20s or early 30s. I wasn’t taking that much notice. lol

Sorry Nat. Didn’t notice you were responding to me. Yes, plenty of suede, very traditional ‘boxy’ brogues and Chelsea boots, basically everything I’m not too keen on. At least in size 9. When you go up to size 10, 11 and even 12, a whole new world opens up to you. There were black Radnors, black Skye, Islays (if you’re a boot fan like me). And a wide selection of shoes. Spoilt for choice if you have larger than average feet. :-/I went to the factory store a few months back. The day I went, the lady behind the counter said that the person that sorts the stock for the factory was off, so they didn't have the usual amount of stock available. Great. I was also told, they rarely have brogues or suede shoes/boots, yet you seemed to have seen suede. I left empty handed, but was working in the area on that day and just allowed extra time to fit it in. Cheaney's factory store was quite calm, by comparison.
A very special boot. So happy I got these. I notice you do your lacing similar to how I do mine. Straight. Most others cross them. Very smart.
