I emailed them about taking VAT off and what shipping would be. I have not received a reply. Are you checking out and being quoted £45 for shipping? What are you doing to remove VAT?

When you go to check out, one has already put a shipping address in. In my case, it is US so the vat is automatically removed, and then a shipping quote is 45gbp is added to the subtotal and a total is given.

Same here. £45 for shipping is a little excessive. But I guess the deals are still quite good.

Yes, if I didn't try them on I would have went with my 325, 335 and 365 size and it would have been too small. Paid more but got the right size.

This is my past recollection from purchasing in January/February. I might have paid more for shipping.

Mine came out to £40 so I guess it depends on location. I'm not sure I'm going to pull the trigger on these though.

I have considered getting a pair of Grasmeres recently and this would be the best deal I've seen.

Gorgeous! I have also seriously been considering these as well. Have also eyed up Alden's LHS but I have no hope getting a pair in whiskey so I have ruled that out. How are you liking them? And how did you size?

I sized 0.5 down from my usual size, but only because they didn't have in my usual size in subs and I was able to try them on before pulling the trigger. It helps that they're unlined.

My usual size is UK8E, but these are UK 7.5E

Great, thank you for the info. What's the width like compared to, say, the 325? Hard to compare since it's a different length, I guess.

I wear UK 7.5E in the 325 last but it's a hair long on me, so I'm thinking UK 7E is what I'd want. But I don't want to end up having them being too narrow.

I bought the Conistons in UK 7.5E also so I'd say they are similar in fit. They also feel similar to my Marlow Pennies in U.S. 8.5D, but I have less heel slip in these.
