The store with the subs is 69 Jermyn Street (next to Tricker's) and the original location. If Lauren isn't there Michael Quinn also knows about us Styleforumers and was a pleasure to talk to also.

Quick question on the above - the Jermyn St location in London has some seconds available?

I'm in London for business and while I'm staying in the City I'm wondering whether I should just stop by the C&J there, or if I should venture to Jermyn St. I'd like a pair of Boston/Harvard loafers in dark brown and wonder if anyone can guide me as to selection, so I don't waste time going to one or the other and not finding what I'm looking for.

Thanks!

I'm not sure if they still have subs at this point, but you can always call and they will let you know and I'm sure if you are looking for something that specific they can tell you whether or not they have them.

The two stores on Jermyn street are about 5 minutes max from each other and if you haven't been I would recommend. From what I understand, one is the current flagship and the other was the original/first location.

Would someone mind posting pictures of like sized 325 and 363 lasted shoes side by side from a top-down view? Curious if 363 is any longer than 325. Im heading to NY to try some on a couple weeks but wouldn't mind some info now :)

Hi, if I'm interested in the Skye 2 in brown shell cordovan, am I going to have to spend $1,150 from Crockett-Jones NYC, or is there a cheaper alternative? Thanks!

Email the U.K. Mail order service or the 92 Jermyn store. I saw it there a few weeks ago. Very nice looking boot. After removing VAT and shipping you might come out ahead even with the recent rise in the pound.

Question for fellow Americans who've bought C&Js while in London. I've never bought anything worth enough that I'd wait around at LHR for the VAT refund... how is it done? Do I need the form, the box, and the shoes? And as a frequent traveler I usually budget 20 seconds to traverse LHR - do I need to bake in extra time to get the refund?

Appreciate your help. Look forward to sharing, I hope, Harvard brown cord pics soon. And, for my spouse's sake, nothing additional.
