I am waiting for the Eskdale II boots wax calf dark brown in a few days. I would like to ask which color to buy from saphire the 05 dark brown or which one light?

I have the Hardwick in snuff and love them, the perfect spring/summer casual shoes.

I am in between 8.5 and 9 and took 8.5 for a comfortable snug fit with thin socks.

Very nice!!. It seems we have same fit Braid. I am in between those sizes always.

Thanks and for the lovely pic!

They look orangey on my mobile screen. In real life, more brown?

Do you know if CJ ever make unlined versions?

Cheers

The Hardwick are definitely not orangey, probably a result of indoor illumination or messed up color balance. They are kind of pale brown.

Never seen an unlined version of Hardwick, but they are so comfortable for me that I have never felt the need.

I thought I would come here to post this as no one else seems to be as excited as I am about my latest acquisition.

I love the Islays but I was set brown pebble grain boots at the moment so I thought I would change the leather up a bit.

Where can one purchase Crockett and Jones? I was on their website and there is no traditional order method. Says “mail order” like it’s 1985 or something? Do I have to send an actual mail order slip via physical post or will email work?
