Hoping to get some help here - I’ve been looking for the C&J Millbank in black calf without success. Anyone have recommendations for a similar alternative, ie, relatively dressy ankle boot in black calf? Much appreciated.

I'd rather have the Todd Snyder's!

But since I live in France and haven't seen a 6.5 on the Snyder's site, Roughout it is!

That's nice too. I only have Roughout and Scotch Grain. Coniston is a great shoe and it fits me too.

Any go to recommendations for a resole for my beloved BB branded conistons?
Still b Nelson?

On a related note Having seen a recent Sargent Cambridge in the flesh I was impressesed at what it looked like a very nice nice version for a bit more than the cost of dainite resole (I believe b Nelson charges $200)
Thanks

Hello Crockett and jones experts. I am trying to take the plunge into my first pair of crockett and jones. I have confirmed fit of the 348 last but was wondering if anybody had firsthand experience with the 373 last in comparison to the 348.

I am mostly worried about width room for my toes and instep.

I'm sure you've checked the C&J web site. But this part may be useful to you:-
. Fitting advice from retail… Last 373 will fit as a more generous version of the 348 last, . . .

Yup - I saw that which was promising. Meaning Id probably be willing to get something on the 373 last without testing it. But because I am trying to be careful I figure I would ask around here for some direct feedback. My guess is that SF has a whole bunch of people that own shoes on both lasts

Hello. Been lurking here for a little while but usually just a reader. I am fairly new in the world of what I would consider nice shoes, and my most recent purchase is a pair of Islay which I love. I am thinking of getting a black pair of Skye but was wondering if anyone has both and can advise on sizing and confirm or counter my understanding.

Just curious if anyone has the Islay (365 last) as well as the Skye on the 335 last? It appears the 335 is nearly the same as the 365. I found one review where the gentleman has both in the same size and says they are nearly the same but I wanted a second opinion before ordering. I thought about going ½ size up to be safe but don’t want them lose. So, anyone with the Islay and the Skye or another on the 335 last?

Get the same size in 325, 335, 365. If anything, the 335 toe is a bit more generous than the others, but not enough to size differently.

@958S YMMV but I have the Shell Skye 2 and the Islay both in 8E and the fit is very similar. I also tried both these pairs in 8.5E and they were too big on my feet.
