I saw in the earlier post. Do you know what the difference is between the three Skyes? Mine may be taking its maiden voyage tomorrow. Just doing my regular shoe care regimen on them before their first time out with me.

I actually thought they would be roomier, but don't feel too different from my 325 last Conistons.

From what I've gathered:

Skye= Chestnut Calf w/ double leather soles (discontinued) :(
Skye 2= Brown Shell
Skye 3= Replaced Skye, comes in Chestnut and Black Calf with Danite soles
Skye 4= Snuff Suede (Discontinued)

The Skye 4 in snuff suede also has brass eyelets rather than blind ones.

I just took a quick glance at your Instagram. I think I can say with confidence that I have never seen anybody abuse his Crockett & Jones quite as much as you do. Completely mad - but clearly you’re having a lot of fun. ;) :)

I am having fun :)
In general it is just the outdoor boots like Coniston and Snowdon that I put through their paces; my dress shoes I wear more carefully.

It would be interesting to see/know how long those outdoor boots last after such abuse.

I don't remember which thread it was posted in, but there is a video with Crat putting due care to his boots too.
Yep, I think I saw that one. After the ‘zug’ Snowdon had been caked in mud following a day of fishing. It’s nice to know you’re investing in such durable footwear. :)
