Question for new TRL chukka boot owners

I am annoyed with myself for missing the original Thin Red Line sale price of 79 pounds for a size 7.5.
I am trying to establish (convince myself?) that these chukkas are worth the extra price (looks like 115 pounds) in the reorder.

So to all that own them now...

What is the shade of brown - tan, medium, or dark? I plan to wear these in fall/winter with navy and brown coats so snuff/tan is out. [Hmm, can you easily dye suede?]

Is there contrast (e.g., white) stitching on the welt (I cannot tell from the pictures) or is everything harmonious?

Can anyone compare these to the Loake Kempton in terms of sleekness (a priority) and quality? I can get the Kempton for a bit less than 100 pounds shipped.

After seeing them in person, would you pay 115 pounds for the TRL chukkas?

Would you consider going the cheaper suede route (99 pounds) that TRL is making part of their reorder offer?

Thanks in advance.

PLAL.com is offering Cheaney specials and there are some chukkas available. Email them and ask them if they're still available...

Thank you for the tip. I will contact them.

Any TRL chukka owners who can chime in?

Stitching is pretty harmonious, and unobtrusive.
I guess I would describe the colour of the suede as medium, its not the dark suede colour you typically see on suede boots but it is certainly much darker than tan.
As to their comparison to the loakes you mention I have no idea, haven't ever owned any. They seem decent quality to me, but I haven't owned either suede or chukkas before, having deliberately steered clear of them till now and I have only worn these a couple of times so far. I posted a couple of pics of them in the main TRL sale thread if you want a look at them.
