Question about Burberry Prorsum Trench Coat

I found this Burberry Prorsum trenchcoat for $800 all in, original ticket $2400. It's made in Italy, 100% cotton. The color is Ink and inside color is called Regimental Red.

The only issue with it is that it is missing the sleeve belts on each wrist (not sure if that's what they're called). I checked at the Burberry store on 57th Street and they said that they don't have any extras since it was Prorsum line/low inventory.

My question is do people think this is worth keeping at this price? I could maybe get creative and find some sleeve belts that are close in color. The guy at Burberry said probably not a great idea to take out the sleeve belt loops since the stitching holes might show. I could maybe go to the store where I bought it and try to get an additional percentage off.

I don't know much about this line, so curious what the consensus is from those with more knowledge... TIA

Prorsum's pricing has always struck me as borderline hysterically nuts.

$780 is a lot of money for an imperfect garment. You could get lots of nice coats/jackets for that.

If it were me, there is no way I would keep it at that price.

prorsum is a rich line, but no matter the brand, if the item comes missing parts or is defective, i dont care the discount i get, i wouldnt pay 800 dollars for an item like that especially for a cotton garment. because, it is still a whopping 800 dollars at the end of the day no matter how you look at it.
also, im not one who prefers belted jackets and such
