Quality of Ralph Lauren Shoes?

Just wondering if anyone had some info on how Ralph Lauren shoes are in terms of quality, style, comfort etc? I know they have several manufacturers, but it's hard to tell who makes what etc. In particular, I'm wondering about these loafers

Tempted to say those are made by Allen Edmonds......if you like 'em, you can't go wrong for the price.

I am not positive about that model but I know the Purple Label ones are made by either Edward Green or Crockett and Jones and those are very nice shoes but they carry a much higher price tag

Yeah, those are made by AE. They fit quite narrow (last 2).

Go for it!! That's a good price. Edward Greens makes some of the PL line. Crockett & Jones makes some very good footwear for RL, but they don't make any of the PL line.

I figured I would restart an existing thread versus starting a new one.

Can anyone comment on the Ralph Lauren cap toe in the link below? The price seems like a good deal, but I'm wondering how the quality is and if the price really is worth it
