I just did a quick reread of this thread. Yes indeed, "buy anything", as long as anything = Lowndes or Tetbury, as those are the only two shoes people mention trying to cop in this thread (you mention Audleys but I think that were merely an observation?). StyleForum stalwarts a bit, yeah?


I, for one, am not a fan of the Tetbury. Too elongated. Looks comical on guys with average or large size feet.

Fair enough, but you can't deny it has its fans. My point was people are being pretty selective here, not smashing down the gates and raiding the entire C&J bounty. I believe the people mentioning it in this thread (myself and one or two other fellows) are in that 6.5-7.5 area. I'm going to pass though, I don't know if I can stomach the 348 without something like a captoe to soften it.
