Ok - it keeps giving.

Bb gf suits - hand made in bk (my hometown) are reduced from $1700 to $250 at the northern ga bb outlet.

They have two styles:

One lightish gray herringbone double breasted - full range of sizes.

The other: single breasted charcoal grey with light blue stripes - a true beauty - only a few sizes 38 r, 40 r and 43r. Overall trim cut.

I couldn't believe they didn't have the second one in my size.

These are marked as 499 with 50 percent off on the discount suit rack. Basted sleeves. Full canvas.

I was there a few months ago. I agree that that is the double breasted one.
I bought the single breasted charcoal grey with light blue stripes for $499 less $100. It was a great buy at that price, but the price is now fantastic!

Yeah, that charcoal grey with blue pinstripes is super nice, but sadly not my size. I went back and checked the rack several times to make sure.

just talked to the salesman there. he said he has been bombarded with phone calls. the 38r is still there. i was gonna buy it but the 6 inch drop doesnt fit my greek god, body. says he has some peal&co in size 8 and 9.

The pants fit euro-ish slim and can be taken in. The "6" drop is more of a "7 to 8." Also the suit jacket shoulders are slightly slim.

I agree that it is rather slim. I have about 5-6 other Martin Greenfields (GF) and always bought a 42R. This one, a 43R, fit just like the 42s and was perfect for me.

I didn't mention that I was part of sf - one of the lurkers here must have mentioned something - yeah, it's better to not mention that around. I was there incognito anyways - black fleece and jeans.

Called North GA BB, talked to a Tyler, he said that he's sold out of the 38R. Arg! Has anyone tried other outlets?

I tried a few other outlets in nor cal -- they don't carry GF, but everything (or many things) are 50% off. Hence, a gray 3B suit is around $170...

Hmmm... tempting. Has anyone bought one of these sight unseen? The sales people at the outlets are not particularly good at describing the cut, model, etc.
