Just looked at Amazon's Friday Sale and they have the Allen-Edmonds Hale Oxfords for $165-$180, free shipping with Amazon Prime.

All 3 colors, chili, black and merlot are listed but not sure which sizes have them available. Chili seems to be most sold-out.

    Good luck!

I think they have been this price for awhile. Is this slightly cheaper for the Friday Sale?

The brogueing around the laces is pretty gnarly.

It's becoming less and less common that I see a pair of AEs that I like.

I don't know if the Friday Sale price is any better than usual - even in the Friday Sale section, some things are marked Friday Sale while others are not...

At any rate, still a pretty good deal for new AE shoes, for those who like them. (Personally, i really enjoy my MacNeil shells, but not crazy about most of their other stuff).

Where are you located? I'm getting them shipped to an address across border and picking them up (Niagara Falls)2

This is a great shoe, worthwhile to have all three colors listed at Amazon. The chestnut was meh.

These are $179 as seconds direct from AE. You might be able to talk a salesguy into giving you last weeks the sale price.....

Even more, they charge you about a $50 import/duty fee.

^Weird that they would do that for a NAFTA made product. Maybe try ordering over the phone and explaining?

ya, considering we have NAFTA, it's almost a scam to charge brokerage/duties as the only real thing that should be charges it the taxes (GST/PST) and maybe a fee for having them pay up front. It shoes that they are most likely using UPS standard shipping or similar...

Got these last week in Chili...beautiful shoe. I definitely wouldn't use the term "blobby" as some other members use to describe AEs. It's a very sleek shoe IMO.
