That's what all the reviews said...a perfect PMW. I can't stop taking pictures of this beauty. With most watches I have a hard time getting a good picture without glare, with this one there is no problem at all.

This looks great. I thought I was set on getting a chrono rather than a diver but now I'm on the fence again.Hello!

Did you buy from Hodinkee? Can’t seem to find it elsewhere and Hodinkee only has a wait list option, perhaps because I’m not on the USI just impulse bought this new blue Alpinist. Hope it works out! Been looking for a new field-style watch, something other than my usual diver style.

Yes, but it looks to be out of stock now. I must have gotten in just under the wire.
Ha! No, I'm not even on their list! I saw it on my Feedly feed and linked to it. I figured it would go fast, so I grabbed one. Figure I can return if it doesn't work out. I think I saw it was available from Seiko too.Wow! I didn't realize it had sold out that quickly. It doesn't look like it was a Hodinkee collaboration so there are probably some other retailers out there that have them available.
