Hi,
Thanks to members of this forum, I now own a couple of Allen Edmonds (Wilbert, Leeds), and an Alden (2816). Love all the shoes, and wish I had discovered them earlier.
I am seeking advise on the polish to use for the 2816. It is a dark-tan color, but when I tried the Kiwi tan polish on it, it seemed a bit dark for the shoe. So, now I am thinking of using a Meltonian light brown or an AE chestnut (the latter suggested by the shoe salesperson).
Would appreciate any help. Also, a secondary question, how to get rid of the Kiwi already on it before applying the new polish.
