Don't Drink & Drive. If your drinking, take a cab. It's not complicated. In the USA, we have a number of cop TV shows, that show how criminals are caught using DNA & finger printing & profiling and whatever is in vogue this week. The truth is that almost all criminals are caught due some traffic violation. Examples:
Warren Jeffs Mormon leader on FBI's most wanted list picked up because of a traffic violation
Notorious serial killer Ted Bundy might still be on the street if he'd taken the bus
The Oklahoma City Bombing killed 168 people and caused 652 million dollars in damages. Within 90 minutes of the explosion, Timothy McVeigh was stopped by Oklahoma State Trooper Charlie Hanger for driving without a license plate and arrested for unlawfully carrying a weapon. Tim rides a bike and maybe never gets caught.
If I ever rob a bank, I'm taking the subway. The only time anyone is arrested on the subway is for jumping the turnstile
So if your going to drink, take a cab. In my entire life I know of only one person that was arrested in a cab and that is a distant relative by marriage. At age 17 or so he decides to rob a cab. Puts a gun to the drivers head and gets the couple of hundred or so the driver had. OK crime is done, all he has to do is vanish into the night. How does he get arrested? Genius forces driver from cab and then proceeds to DRIVE IT & PICK UP FARES for a period of three weeks or so. 5 years at Joliet.
