I'm actually pretty good about working most of my neckties into regular rotation, and I don't have too much trouble getting rid of the ones I've stopped wearing. But pocket squares are different, for some reason. I always want another one..or two...or...

The being pretty good about neckties is the only sign of abnormal behaviour I can see...

how many pocket squares do you need?

I propose with simplify this:

White linen
Light blue linen
Light pink linen

Glen plaid with a POW check in gray silk
Another in orange (goes well with tan tweed sportcoats)

cream silk

burgundy pindot silk
Navy pindot silk

Pink Pattern
Yellow pattern

Another others?

You can't have enough pocket squares. They don't need much space and are not expensive. And you never know when the day comes when you need exactly that one you gave away.

In addition, did you ever hear a woman say she has too much shoes?

I'm absolutely a philistine regarding pocket squares...
I have been yesterday on Kent Wang website and they look great...
Do i need more linen or silk ones to restart my collection?

You never know when they may stop making pocket squares. At the moment I have no idea who pocket squares get made for. I do see a man wearing one every now and then but most do not. Which means that either a small number of the faithful buy them all, or they get bought on impulse and are never worn.

No idea how many I have any more. If stacked, they would measure between eight inches and a foot.

The Duke of Windsor had swatch books to remind him of which suits & coats he had stored in different cities.

When I get to that point with the squares, I'll admit I have a problem.

A mere sartorial nibble. If stacked horizontally, my pocket squares would stretch from Caracas to Kathmandu.

I do this with my suits, jackets and shirts. I dont think of this as a problem but as a mark of devoutness.

I have four pocket squares. I feel like it's enough to have four, but I still want one or two new ones. Two are silk and two are linen.

The patterned linen ones can be worn inside-out, to make the appear solid white from afar, with barely a perceptible pattern up close.
