So before anyone tries to call out the obvious, yes I am aware that's a BD collar, I was just using it for photo purposes. I intend on having a spread collar but the shirt hasn't arrived yet.
@dieworkwear at one point recommended some silver-ish grenadines for wedding attire, and I absolutely think it's an awesome look, especially because I found out that my original choice of a Kent Wang Glen Plaid tie won't work due to the pattern clashing with something (it's not about me, so happy to oblige and change). This Chipp grenadine looks awesome in hand, can't believe the price, and I prefer the finer weave grenadine look. Gives some awesome texture while still being a solid.
I am trying to keep it super conservative - charcoal suit, black oxfords, white pocket square.
Additional question: What should the groomsman wear for a tie? I was thinking another Chipp grenadine that isn't too loud, but I also don't want them all matching. But, if I alternate them or split them down the middle in 2 colors, they are all going to look matching, or worse, aligned to look like a candy stripe. However, I don't want us all looking exactly the same. I suppose a boutonniere could do the trick.
Open to advice or thoughts on both subjects. TIA
