All in all, I really like it. The high gorge and button stance may make it a little on the fashion forward side, but I think it suits you well. I also really like the open quarters of the blazer. I don't see a problem with the buttons personally--they are interesting, and reflect your personal style. Kudos.

My blazer has silver buttons and I think it's a nice touch - don't change a thing.

Blazer fits well - nicely done.

As for overall look, I would swap out the pocket square for a white linen one, and wear a narrower tie. But that is just me.

Excellent overall. The one thing I would change would be less shiny silver buttons, maybe something with a pattern with more of a pewter effect but that is a minor personal preference.

Your tailor totally nailed it. Yes, i see some nitpicking by other forumers re buttoning point, but this is by faaaaaaaaaaaaar the best "critique my outfit" post ever!!

Funny thing is, the typical critics who come out in droves havent shown up yet to compliment a great fit. One of the mysteries of SF!!

OP - also nice of you to freely share your tailor information. You are a good sartorialist. Btw, was this your first commission from the tailor, and how much input did you have in the process?

They're dumbstruck by the sublimity of it all. As I've been.

thanks to my My tailor said that there're no functional problem to use it as torso lining.

It costs KRW1200K. and I am a regular customer of him. First visit was about 2 yr ago and have ordered 1 suit, 2 coat, 5 odd jacket, 1 pants. I'm satisfied with his work.

Nice, not my thing but definitely well done! I can't think of a single definite objective improvement! Bravo! Also, bowtielover wtf, how is this extravagant? Is it the silver buttons?

You have good taste, IMO, even if I wouldn't wear that jacket (I'm an ultra-trend guy), you'd be surprised how many options are ignored purely because they're not the common choice. This can happen even on SF (except here it's more along the lines of prejudice rather than ignorance, a la the shorts hating threads that occasionally pop up).

I asked because I tend to find that sleeve linings are more delicate than body linings (think about which lining you find torn most often in thrifts - IME the sleeves), and typically lighter as well.

I have no idea whether or not the different linings have different thickness/toughness, but given the much higher stress sleeves are subjected to, it's not surprising they wear out faster.
If anything, this would argue in favour of making them less delicate, not more.
