Hello everyone

I have always been interested in clothes and recently I have been unable to find the answer to a certain question.I asked all my friends and they cant help me .In the end one of my friends said you need to ask experts so I have come here to ask you guys.

If anyone can help me it would massively appreciated as I have been searching the net but cant seem to find the answer .O.k here goes:

I am trying to find the proper name of a white shirt with extra baggy shoulders and arms? You often see them in theatre productions worn with waist coats as they really set of the waist coat compared to the conventional dress shirt . I need this for an outfit I am making for a stand up comedy character who wears a black waist coat with black bow tie and white dress shirt . However when I wear a normal standard fit dress shirt it looks o.k but it does not give the look I am after. It doesn't matter if what I am doing isn't the done thing from a fashion or style perspective as this is for a comedy sketch and I really have my heart set on this style of shirt .

I have sometimes seen pirates wear them in films and like I said in the theatre .

Once I know the name I can then search to buy one . Out of interest do you guys recommend any where to buy a reasonable priced one as I am bound to get make up on it so don't want to buy a really expensive one , I was thinking of e bay or buying a second hand one. As I am filming my sketch it doesn't really matter if it is a bit worn etc.

A truly massive thank you in advance to anyone who is kind enough to help and advise me as I am really struggling with this problem . It is the last thing I need and my filming is on hold till I find a suitable shirt for my character.

Best wishes and happy new year in advance !
