Pick Stitching still in style?

Is pick-stitching still in style? Currently I'm not a big fan, it seems a little ostentatious. I guess originally it designated a higher-quality suit? Now you can find it on many OTR suits. Just looking for some opinions...

The key is how subtle the pick stitching is. When it is too pronounced, you know it was done for the intent of showing off.

I personally like pick stitching, both the subtle and the obvious.

I recently had all of my suit and sport coats pick stitched everywhere. Even around the button/button holes, sleeveheads, and twice around each breast pocket. Looks amazing.

You can get it done to existing suits/jackets? How much does it cost?

Never been fond of pick stitching. It always looks to me like the jacket is starting to pucker. I know I am in the minority here, however.

You mean like the "pick stitching" Banana Republic has on their jackets? Awful stuff. Thankfully, I've never seen anyone embarrass themselves in public by wearing it.

Uh, pick stitching isn't done for 'style'. It has a technical reason for its existence.

Somebody has been paying attention.
